card using stampin up products
following on from yesterdays class from Stampin Up, here is the finished card.
It is my mother-in-law Bernice's birthday and i decided to make her a really different card this year and this just happened to coincide with the primary school anniversary that my husband attended.
As the school had featured my husbands old hockey team photo in the school anniversary magazine, i thought it would be a good idea to incorporate the two ideas.
As we used the stampin up balloon theme for the card, I continued the theme, by scanning in the school photo and inserting the photo into a balloon frame. It was definitely going to have to become an easel card too.

party time
here are some of the things we made at yesterdays Stampin Up Demonstration
i used the stampin up inks, papers and stamps for this one
Stamping Up demonstration
Today we attended a Stampin Up demonstration and workshop...... The event was held at the Drumsilly Hotel in Antrim. A great day out and hello to our new crafty friends Geraldine, Doreen and Angela.
The event was great fun with lots of prizes and laughs. We all got a cute gift bag with a chocolate, the crafter who got a black wrapped chocolate won a cool crafty gift bag ... our sister Helen won ....
Can you tell she is pleased, she has never won anything in her life.
We all managed to try the varied products while making both a scrapbook page and a card.
The demos on using tissue paper and making a bird family card were excellent. Thanks to Joy and Gina for the invite, we will definitely go again.
Here's a similar bird card to give you an example
I'll post my finished card when completed.
