Abyssimo in the Attic


Lily's Craft Attic have secured the opportunity to bring this very talented lady over to Northern Ireland to share some exciting techniques with us all in the attic.
We are hosting 2 classes, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st July. 


3-dimensional sculpting

In this class you will learn:

1. How to create a clay using Stone Art

2. How to prepare a semi-sphere base on canvas

3. How to work with mini LED lights on string

4. How to sculpt with Stone Art Clay and create textural patterns and 3-D effects

5. How to enrich your art with dramatic colors and gradients. By the end of this class you’ll feel confident working with a variety of materials giving you endless possibilities for expressive mixed media 3–dimensional painting.

Marvellous Mixed Media 3–D Techniques

Discover a host of mixed media techniques with Instructor Maria Grossbaum-Fondler. Learn to enrich your art with dramatic colour, texture and dimension by harnessing the unique properties of specialty materials.

The course has 9 parts:

1. Sculpting mixture preparation

3. 3D objects
4. Colours overview
5. Combining colours, creating layers
6. Colouring 3D objects
7. Decorative materials overview
8. Rhinestones application
9. Varnish and sealing

Create a unique home for those fairies at the bottom of the garden. Using the non-toxic environmentally friendly medium of Powertex during this class, you will use a variety of different materials to build a whimsical home for the fairy folk. Thanks to the weatherproofing properties of Powertex after  21-days
drying your creation will be ready to place in the garden.

Unicorn Spit

As the weather was so lovely this weekend we decided to work outside on our latest revamp project.


We are up-cycling an old school desk.. and for a a different look we have been trying out the new Unicorn Spit for a very different finish. A bit out-of-this-worldly.!

3d printing scan n cut tool holder

Oh my days ... Chris and I had a fun evening with the new 3d printer

after quite a wait ... it’s finally off the hot plate ....

I didn’t exactly know what it was going to be .. 

it was a bit Like the TV show “can You tell what it is yet “


the dude just made me an awesome holder for my Brother scan n cut tools ... the perfect present as I’m always losing those pesky scrapers and pointy tools ... but not anymore
