Glitter ... Gets everywhere

I made this card because it reminds me of my uncle who likes bringing us out for Walks through the moss

The Moss is full of beautiful silver birch trees and even though I have never been there at night I imagine it would look as
Lovely as this especially when the night sky is full of stars
Again I have used double sided sticky paper ... A tree stencil ... And two colours of glitter, one black one white

Using stencils and resists

Tonight we experimented with some versamark and some stencils and masks

I made this simple brick design using one of the Special Touch masks and then used some of Ali's sprays to create a paint splashed background.

The cut out letters spell a friends name

And were made from the packaging from around a Tim Holtz alphabet stencil set. Waste not want not eh.

My friend likes street art so I hope he likes the inky brick effect on his card and the paint splodges.

Apple tart yarn

Sometimes you just gotta love that online auction site

I found this beautiful yarn online on Thursday.... It has been discontinued here in the UK but when I seen it available in the US I just had to get it

Yarn arrived in 4 days from the USA ... Brilliant postage service.. I can't even get postal deliveries from southern Ireland that quick .. Go figure???

Anyways I love the colour because it so reminds me of those apple tart sweets we adored as kids

I can't wait to get
Creative with this yarn

I will post my apple tart inspired creation when completed
