Stitches - make and takes

Stitches - Make and Takes 2-3 September 2018

There were a great many make and takes available at Stitches.

All the classes were free and considering the initial £5.00 admission fee, this was an absolute bargain.

We loved doing a spot of cross stitch on very large Aida. Very quick and lovely results.
Thanks to the lovely Hannah Fegruson from Kathleen's Attic for the tuition.

Lily's Craft Attic were also luck enough to part take in the wholly sheep broach class and the introduction to rag rug class too.

crochet on the map

Well there is one thing to put your crochet on the map, and another to crochet the actual map.

Here is some more of the fantastic work on display at Stitches 1-2 September 2018.

Absolutely great work, the details are amazing.

Look at the beautiful colours in this blanket, all made by the same group.
Perfect to snuggle up with in the Autumn evenings that are now heading our way.

Stitches

I spent a lovely day on Sunday 2nd September meeting up with some old friends from the knitting and crochet arena.

Stitches was held in the beautiful surroundings of Antrim Castle grounds. If any of our blog readers have had the pleasure in going there I am sure they will agree that the gardens are beautiful.

We just love the colours of this beautiful dream catcher.
I

Well yesterday they had an even more vibrant look, that’s thank to a great woolly makeover.
If the flowers were not already colourful enough the yarn bombing certainly made a rainbow spectacular.
