My mum likes to knit and was having trouble seeing at night. She had a white swing arm type craft light but this was very hard to adjust on different table surfaces of varying surface thickness. In fact the light fell off the table so many times she had given up using it at all.
My crafty sister came up with the idea of using a copper pipe to support the long tube structure of the light and then decorated it in beautiful copper flowers which she made from scrap.
The whole structure was secured in a terracotta plant pot base and filled with a sparkly black glitter sand.
A superb piece of crafty art and a really arty piece of craft.
